Pharmex Group is a Spanish pharmaceutical company founded in August 2016 through the acquisition of the portfolio and the manufacturing plant of Laboratorios Pérez Giménez.

In 2018 Pharmex launched its products into the Spanish market and began its international expansion.

The group consists of a Global Headquarter in Switzerland, an Operational Headquarter in Madrid and a Manufacturing site based in Córdoba (Spain).

With a nutrition business unit, specialized in infant formulas, jars and cereals (Tebramil®), Pharmex aspires to be one of the leading providers in this field.

Pharmex is concentrating its efforts on the development, manufacturing and marketing of quality Rx, OTC and Medical Devices globally with strong emphasis in regions like Europe, MEA and LatAm.

CEO Message

Adel Mishal

CEO

Adel Mishal was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Pharmex in July 2024, he brings great experience and deep knowledge that exceeded 33 years in the Pharma Industry. Adel started his career path in Hikma Pharmaceuticals-Jordan and worked for different regional & multinational companies where he held many technical & managerial positions. Adel Mishal holds a PhD Degree in Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

Miriam Ortiz Lozano

Human Resources Director

Degree in Chemistry from the University of Córdoba and PIDE from San Telmo Business School, with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources leadership for a group of companies in the food manufacturing, professionial training, and multi-line restaurant sectors. Joined Pharmex in 2017 to lead the HR department.

Maria Casanova Baños

Financial Director

Degree in Business Administration and Management, with over 20 years of experience as Financial Director in a multinational pharmaceutical distribution and logistics company. Joined Pharmex in 2023 to lead the Finance, IT, and Procurement departments.

Mā Jesús Fages Molina

Technical Director

Pharmacy graduate with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various leadership roles in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Technical Management. External Associate Professor in a specialized master's program at the University of Seville. Joined Pharmex in 2016 as Technical and Regulatory Director, now serving as Plant Director.

Alaa Abu Rugaa

Site Manager

Ala Abu Ruqaa , experienced industrial pharmacist, he holds the American Board of Pharmacy and has a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Alaa gained over 23 years of experience in different fields of pharmaceutical industry including Operations Management, Research & Development , Tech-Transfer, Quality and Regulatory within MENA, Europe and USA. Alaa Alaa joined in October 2024 as the Manufacturing Site Director at Pharmex.

Your data will be used to analyze your case, follow up, notify the health authorities, and resolve your query. Your data will remain in Pharmex files until the resolution of the case and/or consultation.
